Networking Dinner at Charcoal Restaurant: Evening of 19th October
Hobart is Tasmania's capital city nestled amongst the foothills of Mt Wellington and the entrance to the Derwent River. Hobart is a picturesque city with a unique mix of heritage buildings alongside modern architecture and beautiful natural scenery. Hobart has been chosen for the first Parental Alienation Australia Conference because of its peaceful location and it is the home of Australia’s research laboratory dedicated to parental alienation research.
The aim of the Conference is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of the last research, professional practice issues and developments in understanding parental alienation. The Conference is for practitioners and researchers who are interested in learning more about what parental alienation is, how to identify it and what to do about it. The conference will include keynote presentations from Dr Demosthenes Lorandos, Karen Woodall and Nick Woodall who are world renowned experts in parental alienation. The conference will showcase current research and professional practice issues on parental alienation.

Dr Demosthenes Lorandos is a renowned psychologist, author, speaker, and attorney in the United States. As a psychologist and attorney, Dr. Lorandos specialises in high conflict custody disputes and he is an expert in Parental Alienation. He has published extensively on the topic of parental alienation. At the Parental Alienation: Family Violence Lost in the Fog Conference, Dr Lorandos will be discussing issues surrounding evidence based law and expert witness testimony in cases of parental alienation.
Karen Woodall is an international expert in both assessment and treatment of parental alienation. She is the founding director of the Family Separation Clinic in the United Kingdom. At the Family Separation Clinic, Karen works with colleagues to develop treatment pathways for families affected by parental alienation. Karen has also published extensively on the topic of parental alienation. At the Parental Alienation: Family Violence Lost in the Fog Conference, Karen will be discussing interventions for parental alienation such us reunification.
Nick Woodall is an international expert in parental alienation and high conflict custody disputes. He is a therapeutic mediator and delivers specialist work to alienated parents at the Family Separation Clinic in the United Kingdom. Nick acts as a single expert witness in cases of high conflict family separation and delivers therapeutic mediation, conciliation and dispute resolution services to families experiencing divorce or separation. Nick has also published extensively on the topic of parental alienation. At the Parental Alienation: Family Violence Lost in the Fog Conference, Nick and Karen Woodall will be discussing their groundbreaking reunification program.
To be entitled to the early bird registration fee you must have registered and paid by 31st July 2018. Registration cannot be confirmed until payment is received. Please note if your registration is made less than two weeks prior to the Conference the only payment option available will be credit card.

The Conference Organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel all or any of the arrangements contained in the program. It is a condition of acceptance of registration that an administration cancellation fee of AU$125 including GST will be incurred for any cancellations received in writing prior to Monday 6th August, 2018. Any cancellations after Monday 6th August, 2018 will forfeit 100% of the registration fee. A substitute delegate may be nominated prior to the Conference.
Dinner cancellation policy
The Conference Organisers reserve the right to cancel or vary the dinner if minimum numbers are not reached. Regrettably, dinner tickets cannot be refunded if participants cancel, however you may nominate an alternative attendee(s).
Please note: Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The Conference Organisers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
